Top Three Wireless Headphones Review

By

Do you remember those large, heavy, headphones? They were connected to your stereo with a wire similar to a telephone cord? Wireless headphones are the way to go. Without the hindrance of wires, you can sit on your couch, across the room and watch TV, or listen to your favorite music as loud as you want, and not worry about bothering anyone. These wireless headphones usually incorporate two transmission methods: infrared or radio frequency. Radio frequency is the best frequency, with less dropped signals. A lot of wireless headphones connect to the audio jack, so they can usually be used with cell phones, MP3 players, home stereos and even TVs. Some of the leading makers of wireless headphones are Sennheiser, Logitech, Audiovox, Sony, Jensen, and Acoustic Research.
Here are the top three that I found.

1. Sennheiser RS 130 Wireless Surround Sound Headphones by Sennheiser.

Comfortable, elegant, durable, and easily rechargeable, with surround sound. It has a more solid look and feel with the following capabilities:-SRS Surround sound (switchable)

-Self-learning automatic level control provides optimum signal reception
-Volume, on/off and tuning control located on the headphone

2. Sony MDR-IF240RK Wireless Headphone System by Sony
The Sony MDR-IF240RK Infrared Wireless Headphones System includes a Transmitter and Stereo Headphones featuring its lightweight, open-air design. It is much smaller than its competitors, and lighter. The headphones offer features such as 30 mm drive units for deep bass, and an incredible 60 hours of battery life. It also includes an an optional alkaline battery or up to 35 hours of battery life with the supplied NiHM rechargeable battery, and has a transmission range 24 feet. Another great feature is the way Sony utilizes the transmission coverage angle, up to 90 degrees. This allows a better connection to your audio system, TV or VCR.
- Type: InfraredSound
- Features Mute button, Volume control, Auto power on/off
- Binaural, Ear-cup Headphones
- Remote Control
- Connects to RCA jacks (red and white outputs)

3. Sennheiser Rs110 926 Mhz Wireless Rf Headphones by Sennheiser
The RS110 is lightweight and comfortable, the charging stand and base is great, and the fact that it transmitts through walls and ceilings allows for excellent coverage. It is
- Wireless freedom and stereo sound with reception through walls and ceilings up to 300 feet

- Open-Aire design for hi-fidelity audio reproduction
- Volume and tuning control located on the headphone
