Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 VS Toshiba Satellite T115

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 Netbook

Recently, as I reviewed what was available at this year’s CES 2010, I saw a video showing the new Lenovo netbook. I researched this strikingly handsome netbook, and found that it was very appealing. The size, and the look of the screen, the newer Atom N450, and if you pay for the higher end model, you get the multitouch screen. The wide screen look is very appealing, and makes the netbook a better look than most of the other 10 inch netbooks I have seen.

The attractive casing is durable and sleek, but not excessively shiney , and doesn’t cause fingerprints all over the case. I also like that the screen is set lower than some of the other netbooks out there. That was one problem with the eMachine netbook and the Acer netbook was that the screen set higher than I liked. It comes with Widows 7 Starter pre-installed. The screen itself is a high definition screen, beautiful color, and detail. It comes with a 160Gigabyte hard drive, and 1 Gigabyte of RAM. The plus is it also comes with a 6 cell battery for longer lasting power. The “S” Series netbooks are thin, light, reasonably priced, and easy to use. Lenovo is also known for the excellent customer service.

Here are the Specs:

It is an excellent netbook, attractive, sleek, and well built. The option of the tablet or multi-touch screen is a huge plus for this model as well. Lenovo is a taking it a step higher in the netbook industry.
